The Defeated City
After a tremendous dream crumbles down
Even a fragment of it becomes so dear
As city's dust covered entire wishes
Me, human, standing today with immense desires
Transformed into statue
Having been covered with dust and mud of street
However, human I am, but lack voice
Human I am but can't walk
Eyes I possess and can see but not watch
I just see standing on the middle of tundikhel
The budget that dismantles lacks budget for construction
Energy to fell down tress but no aura to plant
Nobody speaks out
A city constructed of mere statues!
And today in this tremendous city
Among the broken pieces
Clutching a tiny piece of dream inside palm
I am thinking of rest of life's calculation
Now the tiny piece of dream looks immense!
