Poetry:

Mukunda Prayas
Questions
Why do not only grasses grow, in spite of flowers?
Why there exist no gardens of only stones?
Why do devotees emerge out, and protest
against opponents of god?
Why the feet of someone else were not there
at the place where these feet had to stand on?
Amid thousands of eyes, how did
the street to my eyes remain incessant
for your eyes to reach to?
Who is that to keep this place vacant,
and why the wind flows exactly through
that empty space?
Who made this path this much wider,
and how does the sunlight come walking
on the same path?
Who imposed, on this universe, the rule
to keep running perennially?
Who taught the discipline,
and this earth keeps running
without colliding with another earth?
