Fireflies (Poem)
the sky breaks, cracks breaks
and from its interior the fireflies are born
leaving my sky empty, hollow
without heat, without winds
a broken sky, dark, sad
the fireflies fly, they shine
What guilt do fireflies have?
What guilt they have, to shine for you ...
to light up your face
to light up your nights
if the fireflies are like that ...
if for a moment
They illuminated your face and my face
and then they settled only on you
What guilt they have, if born
of my chest?
What guilt do they have, to love you more than me?
the fireflies fly
over a broken sky
what illuminates you ...
