Let No One Fire from the Close-by Door

Open doors mean acceptance
Closed doors thereby denial
But, dear God!
Away from these acceptances and denials
In your name
All the doors are open

In men’s history
The locked doors
Were opened by men with fire
The doors of old religious scriptures
Were opened with marginal consciousness
The doors of men-made temples
Were opened by their self-sacrifices
In this world
Somewhere the doors probably are still closed
But, dear poetry!
Away from these openings and closures
In your name
All doors are admissible

Dear man!
Closed doors are pangs
Only in the sense of non-existence
Opened doors are rather sufferings of life
In the consciousness of own existence

Even if the suffering reigns
I, a human being,
With a courage to face the death
Entered into the risk zone of life
Opening the main gate of consciousness

Because there is life
Man has the questions-and-answers
To risk the open door
Because there are questions-and-answers
He has the beginning and the end of civilization
And at the daybreak—
Let the man create the God
Or declare His death
Let the man write poetry
Or announce its funeral
He has the motion and the waves
          Emotions and gestures
          Logic and the protests
          Hurdles and the pains
          Consolations and apprehensions
In totality—
In the conscience of acceptances and denials
Existence and non-existence
He has an age-long history of doors

At the end—
Dear love!
Let no one fire from the close-by door!
Even at the risk of this human life
You are always welcome at the main gate…!!
