BOOK REVIEW
An outsider of our time - Momila
If it mere a vedic age it would have been a different story but in the society of pseudo intellectual plus quasi-scholars Momila's small revolt is sufficient which creates a havoc among Nepali literary circle.
An Outsiders's Hearing in the God's Court is Momila's anthology of prose which x-rayed her heart. There are 16 titles in he book which flow in the corridors of pages like the Indrawoti. Poetic motion in language and stylistic freedom are her flora and individual freedom her fauna.
In a pose "An Outsider Creation is an Achaelogicla Cosy" she writes- "In an ancient time where the civilization lodged its night I had met the Hero Prometheus in your dark gulley. There was not a torch in his hand. Carrying a gun in one hand and a bunch of flower in the next he was in search of a new civilization. If you happen to meet him somewhere please tell him that you're simply a myth, nothing more than that, you're not the present. Even if you are, you are a mad present, you're a pain but you're not an honour."
Momila and Prose
No, there isn't any contradiction.
Generally this achievement in literature is quite a rare phenomenon. She presents herself with an open heart in front of the readers. There is a flow of world's different society's various mixture of hue of images. There is a destruction of our aged traditional principal where the sentiments of loving pain, painful love, rejection and seeming unsocial virtues are Voiced everywhere. According to the ideology of the so-called society Momila is illegal and illicit in the birth of new change. When the disciplined expression and style are not entertained in the society then there is no exception of anarchy. Actually a man of open conscience who is dictated by the inner call of existence cannot walk with the maddening crowd, but walk a step ahead in hand with the new era.
Reading a title 'An Outsider's Hearing in the God's Court' again and again, the reader feels that Momila is narrating the story of our time. She is whispering our inner voice. She is somewhat translated in Albert Camu's Protoganist Meursault and the reader naturally transformed into Momila's psyche.
"I could not become a good for nothing wife. I could not become a loyal housewife. I was referred to as a characterless woman for my womanizer husband. My generosity became my humilization. I was simply made a sex-doll which should warm his bed. You have just seen that bastard husband of mine taking leave from the witness box. He said a beautiful line on me. I am post modern fossil."
These extracted lines from the prose haunt the readers for many days.
The society which shoulders the decayed cultures and traditions can not accept the truth. It just insults the woman. It does not dare to honour the woman's dignity. It hides its ugly face mearing a mask of falsehood and hypocracy and fears the truth. The decline of such a pseudo. Society is extremely relevant to its dooms day.
She could not become a loyal wife according to the so-called society's ideologies and commandments. She might have not become a good daughter, mother and sister. After reading the essay I would life to ask the judge in favour of the outsider of our time: Woman of substance who is far from the bondage of traditional victims, who is above the trans-relationship of being someone's wife, mother, lover, daughter and sister, who enjoys her self applied freedom of existence, is she a conscious human being or not ?
If yes,
When shall our society dare to accept this truth ?

Intellectual Tonic:
Existentialism in the novel of Bishweshor Prasad Koirala
The whole Nepali literature is grateful to Dr. Gyanu Pandey for her effort to essay the analytical book of Bishweshwor Prasad Koirala 'Existentialism in the Novel of Bishweshwor Prasad Koirala' where she largely debates, discuss and analyses the existential philosophy of the writer whose presence in the Nepali modern writing itself marks a genuine history.
In this book novelist Koirala's personality, principles and philosophy are discussed with great intellect. Dr. Pandey has vividly written on the theory and ideas of highly intellectual
school of thought is existentialism relevant to the works of Koirala's axiom. She has done a micro-study on the novelist's work which resulted a subline book of fair criticism, which for the readers, is our intellectual tonic.
Nepali fiction society and B.P. Koirala, India-Nepal Academy one praiseworty for publishing such a serious book. As Indra Bahadur Rai mentioned, this book would be an intellectual tonic for the readers who seek the difference.

The Life Story of Parijat
Dear Brother,
Narendra !
The second edition of 'The Life Story of Parijat' has influenced me much more and inspired me to move ahead on the memorable phase of it further. Once again, I mesmerized the nostalgia of thirteen years back's assembly of Tundikhel and expressed the moments to Parijat where I envisioned to chat with her about the renowned creation 'Sirish ko Phool' and imagined to attend her funeral together. Then felt, how did this edition guided to lead
me recalling the inner thoughts of my own attitudes.
The revisioned edition encouraged me to express something on it. Though, it is impossible to recreate everything in reality; still the overall presentation of it made me to go in depth of the creation. But, whatever the fact, no one can be so expressionist until the literary originator takes their destination of grave. I am therefore motivated to get the realism on her works longer together with the significant meanings.
Yes brother, it is very difficult to flourish the flower in real life for its existence. But, I felt a real natural existence flourishing as the greenery bush one in the creation of Parijat. The human beings is always running behind of this financial and artificial world in search of the natural and trueness of life, but still he is inspired to search the reality of life in this creative edition.
Sometimes, I feel honesty is the first term and norms of human beings; however, I am not so assured to myself how many of them are intermingling it in their life ? Why is the life is not like the real living ? and the death is more Chaos and mutilated than it is ? At least 'The Life Story of Parijat' is the living answers of the aforesaid questions to all the conscious living figures of this society. Thus, for these all immense creativity, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude.
