A program organized by Nepali Kalasahity.com Pratisthan Kathmandu was held between the 14 – 17 November. The program was characterized in an innovative way by a journey from Kathmandu – Nepalgunj – kathmandu . The four day long journey made by different artists and literateurs marked a new achievement in the Nepali Literature, Art and Culture. The program of Nepalgunj was organized by Bheri Sahitya Samaj of the same.

This creative journey was teamed by Dr. Madhav Pokhrel, Modhnath Praseet, Dr. Hariprasad Pokhrel, Dr. Krishna Raj D.C, Usha Sherchan, Ilya Bhattarai, Geeta Pantha, RM Dangol, Rajeswor Karki, Momila Joshi, Geeta Karki, Chunkey Shrestha, Ram Gopal Aashutosh, Ananta Wagle, Govardhan pooja plus the three popular personalities of classical music, Dr. Dhrubesh Chandra Regmi, Pramod Upadhya and Shyam Nepali of ‘SUKARMA’ band.

Similary poets and writers of Nepalgunj joined the team. The poets including Narayan Gaire, Hari Timilsina, Prem Prakash Malla, Abdul Latif Shauk, Khagendra Giri ‘Kopila’. Sirjana Aryal, Rajendra Dhital, Yugjyoti kriyashril, Ram Chandra Aryal and Gopal Adhikari participated the program.

The two – day long program was held at Taj Hotel. On the launching day Dr. Madhav Pokhrel presented the workshop on the title “What should be the text on todays context.” This workshop was essayed with thoughts like poetry is an art of tranquilizing the brain. Ace writer Modhnath Praseet gave a speech on how Nepali literature should be written. Composer Dr. Dhrubesh Regmi spoke on classical music by saying that the source comes from the folk songs and tunes of Nepal which garnish the intimacy with music to the listener.

The same day the team of poets, writer, artists made a journey to khairapar which is situated 6 Km away from the headquarter of Bardiya. The place which is famous for Black- Buck observation is preserved by Nepal Government. The team observed the endangered species of Black Buck.

The night was a musical celebration. Composers of ‘Sukarma’ band mesmerized the audiences. The musical night continued its magic on the next day too.

The most attraction was the creative program of poetry recitation which was held on November 16. The program was presided by the poet Abdul Latif Shauk. Writer Modhnath Praseet was the chief guest of the program. More than a couple of dozen poets took part in the poetry recitation from which the three best were awarded prizes in the Laxmi Jayanti Ceremony. Every participants were given a letter of appreciation.

“Yogeswor Kalashitya Award” was given to Dr. Krishna Raj D.C. This award was established by the sons of Yogeswor Karki. The founders are Rajeswor Karki, Parmeswor Karki and Gyaneswor Karki. Prize consist of Rs 15,000. This award is given in every two years to the writers and artists of the mid – western Nepal.

On the program the institution gave away a letter of appreciation to the social worker of Jajarkot Rajeev Bikram Shahi. Dr. Madhav Pokhrel, on his analytical sppech, spoke lot about the entire program. Welcome speech was given bu the president of Bheri Sahitya Samaj, Narayan Gaire. The president of Nepali Kalasahitya.com, Momila threw lights on the purpose of such program. She remembered Arjun Bikram Rana who was a social worker and a literary figure. His grand son Rajiv Bikram Shahi had managed the economical assistance of this program.

The seminar concluded with the dance presentation, Blessings of literateur and singer Prem Prakash Malla and Thanks – giving speech of Hari Timilsina. The musical presentation of the “ Sukarma” band mesmerized all the writers and artists. In this way the journey reached the end, to continued every year.
